Study Tours
Our flexibility, knowledge and expertise ensures our programs are tailored specifically to meet the budget, learning outcomes and interests of our student groups. Our Study Tours can range in length from a couple of days to a truly integrated experience. They focus on, Improving English proficiency, teaching life skills and open-mindedness, developing intercultural friendships and developing confidence.
About our Study Tours
Students are immersed in English at all times during their stay including during class, with their homestay family, and throughout the exciting range of educational and cultural excursions we have on offer.
The English language component focuses on developing the students speaking, listening and critical thinking skills. This approach not only provides lots of opportunity for intercultural exchange, debates and discussion but it also allows the students to contextualise the English they are learning and return home with a renewed sense of self-assurance in their ability to confidently communicate in spoken English. These skills are developed within a wide range of high-interest topics and delivered in small class sizes where we provide a supportive highly interactive environment.
Our aim is for students to return home with an improved sense of confidence in their language ability, and all students receive a Certificate of Participation upon completion of a Study Tour program.
English Plus Alpha programs
We also offer a wide range of English Plus Alpha Programs which are designed to improve English language proficiency while also giving students the opportunity to gain industry-specific experience. These programs are customised for each individual group. Topics include nursing, social welfare, aged care, engineering and life skills.
